ABOUT ME
I started teaching with this goal in mind: to help people connect with themselves and others through music, and to cultivate creativity and empathy. My background in music combined with my personal interest in spirituality helps others connect, create, and express themselves.
I began teaching music 15 years ago as a means to support myself through college. The next 15 years would be spent connecting with thousands of humans and touching so many hearts and minds through music. I come from a musically gifted family and have a diverse background rich in different musical experiences. Some of my work includes:
early training in classical music in my most formative years
I have been a singer, songwriter, and performer since the age of 14
I have written, recorded and self-produced all of my own music and albums
I have worked 1X1 with thousands of students teaching children and adults alike how to play instruments while weaving creativity into their musical journeys
I play (and teach) guitar, piano, ukulele, bass, drums, and sing, as well as being a proficient songwriter/producer
I have worked with with non-profits and charities to bring music into communities with little resources
I have curated and hosted wildly successful shows and events for many communities, including this one
